For all those teachers

They didn’t know there children wouldn’t come back home

For all of them Im truly sorry

For all those kids

Week #10 Inspiration Poem

My best friend

She is my inspiration

Even if she’s far away

Or hasn’t been here for a while

She is my inspiration

Thinking of her gives me hope

Because it doesn’t matter

If were together or apart

She’s never really far from me

She’s always in my heart

She is my inspiration

Lemme look!

Week #9 Onomatopoeia Poem

Onomatopoeia Poem

The waves are racing towards the shore SWOOSH! SPLASH!

BOOMING CRASHING… More, more, and more!

The sand beneath my feet is soft and goes through my toes SSSS!

As I collect shells in my hand they go CLACK, CLACK, CLACK

As I put on my sandals they go FLOP, FLOP, FLOP all the way home.

Week #8 Digital Footprint

     Digital Footprint

A digital footprint is the information about a particular person that exists on the Internet as a result of their online activity. Your digital footprint is very important it matters because your digital footprint paints a picture of who you are. It is all the stuff you leave behind as you use the Internet. Comments on social media, Skype calls, app use and email records- it’s part of your online history and can potentially be seen by other people, or tracked in a database. This week we were asked to answer some questions about our digital footprints. Is it positive or negative? I think my digital footprint is positive. Would you be proud to have your grandparents or your future grandchildren look at everything you have included in your digital footprint? Why or why not? um… I guess I would be proud to have my grandparents or future grandchildren look at everything I have included in my digital footprint because I haven’t done anything bad or left a bad digital footprint behind me.                                                                                                                                         giulius via Compfight

Week #7 The Perfect Title – Say It With Music

Say It With MusicSilence 47/52Creative Commons LicenseGauthier DELECROIX – 郭天 via Compfight

Music is a true escape from this world. It can be loud, soft, its magic with every melody i hear. Music is what feelings sound like. It says things that words simply cant. Music is the art of thinking with sounds.

It clears my head heals my heart and lifts my spirits. Music completes me in a way that nothing else ever will, saves me everyday gives my live a purpose and defines who I am. It takes me places I have never been before.

But the most beautiful  thing about music is that it carries a message, and we, the musicians, are the messengers. So dear music Thank you. Thank you for being there when I need you the most. For being there for all those other people that love music as much as I do. So next time your feeling down put your music up and let music take you to the places you dream of.

Week #6 Letter Poem ;(

Dear Bestest Friend,

As friends we shared everything. Talked whenever laughed, and made the best memories together. As the years go by day by day Ive traveled lifes highway. Ive been up and Ive been down sometimes just round and round and if I hadn’t been lucky enough to have a friend or two I probably couldn’t of made it through but, sadly you haven’t been there.

Out of all the friends Ive met even now that your miles away your the one I will never forget.

Even though your half way across the world, if distance were measured in turms of the heart we’d never be more than a minute apart. So don’t worry a strong friendship doesn’t need daily conversations, doesn’t always need togetherness, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends will never part.

So as long as you take ill be waiting and waiting and waiting until your return do hurry though we have a lot of caching up to do. And a girl without a best friend is like a garden without flowers, rain but no rainbow, peanut butter with no jelly, mac with no cheese and the worst one…  a Ruby without a Rachel.

I MISS YOU…

Your best friend

-Ruby

Week #5 Family:]

Everything about who we are, both our nature and nurture comes from our family.
This week in our classroom we are talking about our family’s. Well, my family is loving, caring, and way overprotective. But, there also very weird and crazy funny. In my family music runs in our blood its everyone in my family including me either plays an instrument, sing, or is a song writer. Other than music our culture is another really important and close to us and I found a poem that describes my family and my race in general.

I’m Latino Proud

Published on February 2006

I was born
into this race
I’m Latino Proud
And it shows on my face

When it comes to family
We defend our own kind
Something in others
You’ll never find

We work out in the hot sun
To earn our daily bread
But that’s alright
We keep our family fed

We’re known for our tortillas
Our beans and our rice
A few jalapenos’
For a touch of spice

Sometimes we are bad
And get sent to jail
It’s all so sad
When we can’t make bail

It’s guys like that
Who give our race a bad name
I’m still Latino Proud
And I say it with no shame

Chicano here
Hispanic there
What’s the difference
When the others don’t care

We walk with our heads up
Each and every mile
I’m Latino Proud
And for that I can smile!

Week #10 Farewell until March 2017

Week #10 will be the last week’s post for the blogging challenge until March 2017. So this week were are going to evaluate our blogs and the global blogging challenge in general. So if I had to rate my blog on a scale 1 through 10 I would rate it a 7. I would rate it a 7 because I think i did all the post that were required but I also didn’t do any extra credit so thats why Im missing some weeks. If I had to rate the global blogging challenge on a scale 1 through 10 I would rate it a 9 because I think its a good way to improve writing skills. I also think its really cool how people from all over the world can visit your blog read your post and comment. But I also didn’t give it a fully 10 because I think its really complicated to find lots of stuff like widgets and all of other things but other than that its great. Another thing they asked us to do was ask a friend/parent or family member some questions about my blog so this what my brother said…

Q. What were your first impressions of this blog?

A. All the writing.

Q. What captured your attention?

A. All the pictures.

Q. What distracted you on the blog?

A. “That”

Q. What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?

A. Keep putting pictures on each post.

Now I will answer these questions that were asked.

How many posts did you write? 5 post.

How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge? 1 was school based. 3 were set by the challenge. 2 were my own interest.

How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers or overseas students? I got 8 comments.

Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened? I think my about me page recieved the most comments because it was a page.

Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?I like the images and attributions post.

Did you change blog themes at all and why?I did not change blog themes because i didn’t want to.

How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough?I don’t know how many widgets I had.

How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll?I think i only had 2.

Which web tools did you use to show creativity on your blog?I didn’t use any.

What the most interesting challenge for you?the about me page.

I t was fun blogging for these past months and I will continue in march. For now HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
